Advancing Equity through Whole-Person Health

Behavioral health access is a pressing community need and our greatest opportunity for impact. We’re working to advance whole-person health by expanding access to behavioral health in underserved communities. Our efforts focus on three areas—Resilient Children and Families, Healthy and Connected Aging and Health Care Workforce.

Legacy Investments

Since 2007, we have invested $65 million to advance palliative care access, awareness, and quality to improve the care and quality of life for people with serious illness and their caregivers. This includes the Sojourns Scholar Leadership Program which aims to identify, cultivate and advance the next generation of palliative care leaders. We have expanded to addressing whole-person health for all people, not just those with serious illness, but some of these legacy investments continue to thrive.
